St. Louis Cardinals to wear camo hats and jerseys in Memorial Day game with Kansas City

There has been a lot made of the St. Louis Cardinals decision to change things up regarding their uniforms in 2013. The Cardinals have implemented an alternate white home jersey for Saturday home games and have decided to go with red hats on the road for the first time in several seasons.

The decisions have been met with mixed emotions by fans. Some like seeing the different uniform combinations, others who are baseball traditionalists despise the rotating set of jerseys and hats.

On Memorial Day, the St. Louis Cardinals will once again wear a different uniform. The Cardinals will wear a special Memorial Day jersey that will have camo in the numbers and on the classic "birds on the bat". The team will also feature camo hats to go along with the special jerseys.








The camo uniforms are certainly a different look for the Cardinals and should once again drum up noise among Cardinal Nation. But it is good to see them honor our nation's military members who served in the past with this subtle detail on the uniforms.
