Golf is usually down the list somewhere past competitive eating.
I love to watch golf, and early in the PGA season, the men you like to see on top are playing their best golf.
Phil Mickelson is a fan favorite and he has won the Waste Management Phoenix Open this weekend. Tiger Woods won last weekend.
When these two golfers are on top, golf is at its finest. In the last couple years golf has gotten more and more exciting, with a good influx of young talent. Brandt Snedeker, Dustin Johnson, Bubba Watson, and Rory McIlroy, amongst many others, have made golf even more exciting to watch.
Golf is a sport that needs multiple people to be at the top of their games to bring the excitement every week. But the one player I think truly brings the fans is Tiger Woods. Never mind what happened off of the course, I am focusing on what this guy has done on the course.
When he is at the top of his game there is no one I would rather watch. I believe people, whether they like Tiger or hate him, when Mr. Woods is on the masses tune in to watch. He still has a chance to do more in golf that nobody before him has been able to accomplish.
When you throw in Phil Micelson playing at the top of his game as well, golf might be on the brink of its best season it has had in years.
When it comes to Sundays, if Phil and Tiger are in the hunt, even very casual golf spectators might change the channel to watch.
