St. Louis Rams: Steven Jackson's move to void contract should not be a surprise

On Tuesday, news broke from the St. Louis Post-Dispatch that longtime St. Louis Rams' running back Steven Jackson would void his contract and become a free agent, free to move to any team he wishes.

The move comes as a bit of blow for Rams' fans who have grown so accustomed to seeing Jackson pound the rock at the Edward Jones Dome over the past nine seasons.

But should this move really come as a surprise?

The guys from The Cruddy Show discussed the move by Jackson and the consensus was that the move should not have been a surprise at all considering not only the Rams' financial situation as well as Jackson's desire to play for a Super Bowl contender sooner rather than later
