As the NHL labor negotiations continue to frustrate NHL fans across the nation, several St. Louis Blues players continue to excel in roles with their secondary, temporary teams.
Blues forward and assistant captain Alex Steen recently posted three assists in helping his team to a 5-4 win in Sweden. Steen has posted seven goals and 21 points while playing in his home country during the lockout.
Forward Chris Stewart, who was previously playing in a German hockey league, recently returned to North America after posting 20 points in 15 games played.
Closer to home, youngster Jaden Schwartz is busy playing for the club's AHL affiliate Peoria and is excelling. Schwartz netted the game-winner for Peoria on Wendesday night and now has 10 points for the Rivermen.
