After a slow start to his rookie season in the NBA, St. Louis native and Washington Wizards guard Bradley Beal has played better of late.
In seven December games, including the Wizards' 102-72 blowout loss to the Miami Heat on Saturday night, Beal is averaging 14.0 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game.
On Saturday, when going head-to-head with Lebron James and Dwayne Wade, Beal managed to score 19 points to lead the Wizards in scoring.
Unfortunately, Beal his just six of his 18 attempts from the floor in the process.
Beal has struggled shooting the ball during his first NBA season. The 6'4'' guard that played at Chaminade Prep is shooting just 35.9 percent from the field this season.
Beal is even worst from behind the arc, hitting on just 31.4 percent of his attempts.
If Beal wants to develop into the Pro many think he can be, he will need to improve upon his offensive efficiency. He will need to knock down more shots, more often without turning the ball over.
Beal has the talent and it is obvious. He just needs to hit the bottom of the net more often.
