Rams rookie wide receiver Brian Quick hauls in first catch

The St. Louis Rams were extremely excited about their second round draft pick Brian Quick after last spring's NFL Draft.

The Rams were high on Quick's size, speed, and play-making ability.

But coming into Sunday's 19-13 win over the Seattle Seahawks, Quick had struggled and had not even made the stat sheet.  In week three, Quick was not even in uniform as he was inactive.

Quick was back in action on Sunday though and hauled in his first catch, a nineteen yard reception from quarterback Sam Bradford.  Quick was targeted by Bradford three times on the afternoon, but the duo was only able to connect on the one occasion

Quick certainly looks the part when given a chance.  His physical presence is obvious.  The man is huge.

But evidently Quick is still adjusting to the speed of the NFL, which is not only much different than big time college football, but definitely different than what Quick saw at Appalachian State.

Rams fans need to be patient with this prospect.  It make take some time for him to continue to adjust.  Hopefully Quick can continue to see the field though, as sitting in the press box will not help the kid get any better.

Quick has the tools and could eventually develop into the wide receiver the Rams were excited about back in April.
