Danny Amendola catches TD pass on fake field goal

The St. Louis Rams needed an offensive spark.  According to the Fox broadcast of the Rams game with the Seattle Seahawks, the Rams had not scored a touchdown in one hundred offensive plays.

On Sunday, Jeff Fisher used some trickery to find the end zone.

After being stopped near the end of the second quarter on third and goal, Fisher sent his field goal unit out on the field with the score 7-3 in Seattle's favor.

What nobody on the Seahawks saw though was that Rams wide receiver Danny Amendola never left the field after the previous snap and lounged around the Rams sideline.

After the ball was snapped, holder and punter John Hekker caught the ball and put the ball down.  But before kicker Greg Zuerlein could kick the ball, Hekker pulled the ball up, turned right, and threw the ball to a wide open Amendola who was standing all alone in the end zone for an easy score.

Fisher is not afraid to use a little bit of trickery and it worked on Sunday against Seattle.  The result was a Danny Amendola touchdown catch.
