St. Louis Rams quarterback Sam Bradford had a very disappointing 2011.  After a strong rookie campaign in 2010, when he won the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year award, Bradford seemed to regress behind a suspect offensive line.

That suspect offensive line also caused Bradford to get injured on two occasions and according to recent comments from the Rams quarterback, his hurt ankle may not necessarily be one hundred percent just yet.

The Rams quarterback recently commented that the ankle still bothers him on occasion, but should not be a factor once training camp starts
"It's good, it's good. I would say there's still days where it's not 100 percent, but I really haven't had any major setbacks. It seems to be getting better every week. I'm hoping by the time training camp gets here that it'll really be a non-factor."
High ankle sprains like the one Bradford suffered near the end of 2011 can take some time to heal and regain strength, but it is sort of concerning that Bradford still does not feel one percent on the ankle every single day.

If Bradford still does not have confidence in his injured ankle during non-contact, summer workouts, Rams fans should start to worry about whether Bradford will regain the confidence and poise he displayed as a rookie but seemed to misplace during 2011.

Bradford will need to be better in 2012.  He needs to improve upon the six touchdown passes and 53.5 percent completion percantage he posted in 2011.  In order for Bradford to improve upon those numbers though, he needs to be healthy.

Hopefully Bradford continues to heal.  Hopefully Bradford regains his confidence in the pocket.  Hopefully Bradford can lead the Rams to more than two victories in 2012.
