Wisconsin Badgers junior running back and Heisman Trophy Finalist Montee Ball, who is from Wentzville, Missouri, has decided to return to school for his senior season at Wisconsin.
Ball's 39 touchdowns scored this season tied and NCAA record held by all-time great running back Barry Sanders. Yet despite his outstanding performance this season, Ball cited that he felt he still had work to do in order to improve and ready himself for the NFL.
Ball, who played his high school ball locally at Wentzville Timberland High School, said his heart is not ready for the NFL and lies with Wisconsin at this point.
Ball will spend another year at Wisconsin readying his body further for the NFL and likely will contend for next year's Heisman Trophy as well.
Check out Ball's interview with ESPN on his decision to stay at Wisconsin and let the NFL wait another season.
