As the St. Louis Rams, with their disappointing 2-11 record, prepare to host the Cincinnati Bengals this weekend at the Edward Jones Dome, questions continue to swirl regarding the health and status of quarterback Sam Bradford.
Bradford, to the surprise of some since he did not practice much last week, played in the Rams 30-13 loss at Seattle and the results were not good. Bradford completed just 12 of 29 passes for 193 yards, an interception, and was sacked three times by Seahawks tenacious defense.
Bradford's mobility was obviously limited and it seemed as though the second year, former first overall pick could not step into his throws as he is continually bothered by a high ankle sprain.
Now back in a walking boot, Bradford believes it may be difficult for him to get back on the field this Sunday against the Bengals.
With his club's 2-11 record, risking further injury to Bradford does not seem smart, especially since he is the future of the franchise. But, as many already know, Spags decisions are likely being made with the influence of his own future in St. Louis being very short.
Bradford says though, that if the ankle is not good enough to practice on Friday, then he will be unable to go on Sunday and is tired of the injury being set back by pushing it too early.

"I think if it feels good enough Friday to get out there and test it, I'm sure we will just see where we're at. But if it doesn't, I don't think we're going to push it and set it back again."Head coach Steve Spagnuolo has received criticism for sending Bradford out there too early before he is fully healed from injury.
