Rams Final Game Will Be Televised In St. Louis

After a long struggle and after being granted a 24 hour extension by the NFL, the St. Louis Rams have found a way to get their final home game of the season on local television in St. Louis.

In order to meet the NFL's sellout requirements, the Rams ownership group bought up enough tickets to push them over the edge and allow them show the game on local television.

Rams vice president of football operation Kevin Demoff explained that it was important for the organization to have the season's final game televised even though the Edward Jones Dome will mostly be empty on Sunday.
"While this game was a challenge to find a way to get on television, we thought it was important to our fans to make sure that those who can't get to the stadium on Sunday would be able to watch the Rams in our final game of the year."
The Rams are just 2-13 this season and are scoring just 11.1 points per game this season, last in the entire NFL.

While having the last game on television is a nice gesture by the Rams organization, many fans likely feel they rather just forget this season ever happened and move and get ready for an off-season that will surely be filled with fireworks and changes.

The Rams and San Francisco 49ers game will be shown on Fox 2.  Kickoff is at noon and the St. Louis Rams official website is advertising that tickets remain if you would like to see the game in person.
