Sam Bradford Misses More Practice

The St. Louis Rams missed second year quarterback Sam Bradford during their 34-7 blowout loss at the hands of the Dallas Cowboys last week.

Bradford missed the game while walking around the sidelines in Dallas in a boot with a high ankle sprain.

On Wednesday, as the Rams resumed practice back in St. Louis in preparation of this week's game against the powerful and potent New Orleans Saints, Bradford once again sat out another practice.

Backup quarterback A.J. Feeley took most of the snaps in Wednesday's practice and is preparing to lead the Rams against the mighty Saints.  If Bradford can not start again, Feeley will be at the helm for the win-less Rams.

"Until I'm told not to, I'm going to assume that role," Feeley said. "I think it's going to be tough to keep Sam off the field but if that's not the case I'll go again."

While Bradford has begun some light strengthening exercises on his sore ankle, there is not any current indication of when he will be ready to resume his duties as the Rams starting quarterback and very likely will miss this week's game against the Saints.

Bradford, who has thrown 1,177 yards and three touchdowns in five games this season, has yet to take any practice or game reps with new Rams wide receiver Brandon Lloyd, who caught six passes in his Rams debut against the Cowboys.

So until Bradford is ready to go and healed, the Rams will turn to Feeley and hope he can lead them to their first victory.
