Arnott Has Eye Surgery

St. Louis Blues forward Jason Arnott had surgery on his right eye in order to remove a cataract on Wednesday morning in St. Louis.

Tbe 36 year old forward signed a one year contract with the Blues this past off-season and it is indicated that the veteran will be out seven days.

The club believes that Arnott will be available for team's season opener at home against Nashville on October 8th.

When asked if the injury to Arnott was serious, Blues head coach Davis Payne simply replied, "No, no."

Arnott has scored 400 goals over 17 seasons in the NHL.
