This season, with a year under his belt, things figure to slow down for Bradford. Bradford echoed those sentiments after the Rams 33-10 trouncing of the Indianapolis Colts in team's first preseason game of the season.
"It's night and day compared to our first preseason game last year," Bradford said. "I just feel much more comfortable and much more confident."
Comfortable and confident have to music to the ears of Rams fans who hope that Bradford develops into the elite NFL quarterback that everything thinks he can be.
Bradford definitely saw more time in the team's first preseason game than most elite quarterbacks. Bradford played the entire first quarter and finished a drive that carried over into the second quarter.
Some thought it was a surprise. Bradford on the other hand, was fine with the extra reps.
"I played about what I thought," said Bradford.. "We had some short drives to start the first half, so I had a feeling I was going to play the whole first quarter, even a little into the second."
Bradford completed 7 of 12 attempts for 45 yards and a touchdown to new weapon Lance Kendricks. The 45 yards certainly are not anything to get excited about, but you figure as Bradford gets more and more acclimated with new offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels, the yards per attempt will certainly go up.
Lets just hope Bradford continues to feel comfortable.
