Blues Give B.J. Crombeen New Contract

The St. Louis Blues have signed forward B.J. Crombeen to a new contract that will pay him a total of $2 million over the next two seasons.

“B.J. has been a true professional for the Blues organization on and off the ice,” said Armstrong. “His gritty play and leadership qualities fit in well with our mix of players.”

The signing continues a recent trend that has seen the Blues sign a parade of their young players to contract extensions.

Crombeen, who is 25 years old, appeared in 80 games last season for the Blues, scoring seven goals while serving as one of the clubs key contributors to 18th ranked penalty killing unit in the NHL.
