Pujols Is Still Confident Despite Struggles At Plate

Albert Pujols is currently stuck in the middle of the longest home run draught of his major league career.  Pujols has not hit a home run since April 23rd, a span of 25 games.

But the slugger, who has belted just seven home runs this season while hitting .266, which is 63 points below his career average, is not worried.

All the first baseman cares about is winning and he says that he feels fine at the plate.

"I'm all right," Pujols said on Friday night. "I'm fine. I'm right where I want to be. Would I prefer to be hitting .400? Yes, of course. But I'm right where I want to be. This is not about me. This is about our ballclub and we're winning. I told you guys three weeks ago, if we were losing, I would take it a little harder. But we're winning. It's all good."
