And the St. Louis Rams are scheduled to pick 14th as the first round of the NFL draft gets underway on Thursday night.
After a 7-9 season in 2010 that saw the Rams narrowly miss the playoffs behind rookie quarterback Sam Bradford, the Rams still have many glaring needs that have to be filled in order to solidify both the offense and the defense.
The Rams will have to be better on both sides of the ball if they hope to contend for a spot in the playoffs in 2011.
So, what should the Rams do? Who should they draft?
Should they fill their need at wide receiver and draft Julio Jones out of Alabama if he is there? Should they move up to get Jones?
Or should the Rams go defense in the first round and grab a pass rusher? Defensive ends Aldon Smith out of Missouri and Corey Liuget out of Illinois could be available when the Rams pick.
Or, to the dismay of pro bowl running back Steven Jackson, the Rams could draft running back and former Heisman Trophy Winner Mark Ingram out of Alabama.
So Rams fans, who should the Rams draft? Vote now.
