St. Louis Cardinals starter Jake Westbrook put together a fabulous performance on the hill for the St. Louis Cardinals on Sunday night.  But the only player fans will be talking about is Yadier Molina.

Molina turned around an Edinson Volquez 95 mph fastball with two runners on in the 6th inning for a 3 run home run, powering the Cardinals over the Cincinnati Reds 3-0.

The home run was Molina's first long ball of the season and gave the Gold Glove catcher 10 RBI's on the season.

But not to be lost in the Molina hoopla is the performance not only by Westbrook on the hill, who tossed 6 shutout innings, but the young arms in the bullpen.

Fernando Salas, Eduardo Sanchez, and Mitchell Boggs combined to throw the last 3 innings of the game, allowing just 1 hit and striking out 10 of the 12 hitters they faced.

All 3 relievers displayed "explosive stuff" while mowing down the Reds hitters.

Boggs was able to pitch around the only hit given up by the bullpen by stirking out Jay Bruce looking to end the game.

The win moves the Cardinals record to 12-10 on the season.

The Cardinals have an off day on Monday before traveling to Houston on Tuesday.
