Lance Berkman is currently the everyday right fielder for the St. Louis Cardinals.

But for most of his big league career that has seen the switch hitter blast 333 home runs and hit .297 over 12 seasons, Berkman has donned the Houston Astros jersey.

On Tuesday evening, Berkman will get an opportunity to go back to Houston wearing the Cardinals uniform.  Something that the 35 year old says is really not a big deal.

"I feel like I've kind of turned the page, and part of me just wants to be done with it," Berkman said. "But I know I'm going to have to go back in there and face a lot of questions, and things like that. But it boils down to, it's still just a baseball game. Now that I'm on the other side, you've got to try to win and do the best you can for the team you're playing for."

While it is sure to be a special moment for Berkman and the Houston fans to relive some of those memories of year's past, Berkman is doing everything he can to create memories for Cardinals fans in a Redbird uniform.

Berkman has been on fire to start the season, hitting .377 with 6 home runs and 15 RBI's while playing a solid outfield.

Berkman attributes his success to being in the right physical condition to the do the job.

"I just feel healthier than I have in a while," he said. "My legs feel good. My knees aren't bothering me. I think that has a lot to do with having a good base to hit from. Other than that, my swing feels really good. I hope I can keep it going."

He'll get his shot to keep it going on Tuesday night and possibly at a familiar position.  Berkman may get a chance to play first base as the status of Albert Pujols is still up in the air after the slugger tweaked his hamstring on Sunday night.

But whether Berkman is at first or in right field, it will good to see Berkman back in Houston.

It will feel better knowing he is wearing a Cardinals uniform.
