The St. Louis Blues did not qualify for the Stanley Cup Playoffs, but that doesn't mean that they do not have players still playing hockey.

Blues defenseman Kevin Shattenkirk scored a goal in the third period of the Team USA's 5-1 win over Austria.

Shattenkirk scored with 2:21 left in third period to give the Americans a 4-1 lead and basically seal the victory for Team USA in their 5-1 defeat of Austria.

Shattenkirk is one of three Blues on Team USA's roster, which also has Blues forward Chris Porter and back-up goalie Ty Conklin.

Shattenkirk was acquired in a trade that sent Erik Johnson to the Avalanche and brought Shattenkirk and Chris Stewart over from Colorado.

The 22 year old had 9 goals and 43 points in the NHL last season.
