Barack Obama had a busy day on Wednesday.

First, he released his official birth certificate to the public in order to quiet those who doubt that he was born on American soil.  The claim was that the issue had become a distraction and the focus of the American people should be on the restoration of the American economy.

And then, he had dinner with Blaine Gabbert.

So while Obama wants to focus on the economy, evidently he also wanted to focus on spending some time with some soon-to-be very rich football prospects.

According to Blaine Gabbert's official Twitter page, Gabbert tweeted the following on Wednesday night.
"Just left dinner with Mr. President @BarackObama"
Georgia wide receiver A.J. Green and Wisconsin defensive end JJ Watt also joined Gabbert, according to a previous tweet and this photo.

What an awesome accomplishment for Gabbert, who got to share a meal with the President of the United States before he even became a professional football player.

But don't worry, that is certain to happen on Thursday night.

And while having dinner with the President is exciting news for the quarterback out of Missouri, the real question everybody is wondering about is what team with draft Gabbert on Thursday night?

It looks as though the Carolina Panthers likely won't be the answer, as most reports have them leaning towards taking Cam Newton with the first overall pick.

Other places where Gabbert could fall include the Cincinnati Bengals at 4, the Arizona Cardinals at 5, and the San Francisco 49ers at 7.

The Washington Redskins pick 10th in the draft on Thursday night and if Gabbert was in Washington having a meal with the President of the United States, could that be a sign of where Gabbert may land if he falls past those other clubs who are looking for a quarterback?

Could Washington be inclined to move up in the draft to grab Gabbert?

It is to hard to say.  But, it had to of been a pretty cool night for the amateur football player who grew up in St. Louis.

At least he is an amateur for now.
