Many St. Louisans believe that Bradley Beal may be the best high school player ever to come out of St. Louis.

On Wednesday night, Beal displayed why, scoring 17 points in the McDonald's All-American game in Chicago.

Beal played for the East team in the contest and came away victorious with a 111-96 victory.

Beal is headed to Florida next season to play for Billy Donovan and the Gators.

The 6 foot 3 inch guard is following the same path that fellow Chaminade College Prep alum David Lee followed, which is looking more and more promising after performances like Wednesday night.

Beal is the 7th ranked recruit in the country according to ESPN.com.

The senior averaged 33.5 points per game this past season.
