Last week was a huge week for the Missouri Tigers.

They got their first road victory with an impressive 76-70 victory over the Iowa State Cyclones.

While finally netting a road victory that will only strengthen their already stellar tournament status, the Tigers failed to move up the rankings in this week's ESPN/USA Today's Coaches Poll.

The Tigers, at 21-6 overall and 7-5 in Big 12 play, are ranked 21st in the country as they prepare to take on the Baylor Bears at home on Wednesday and the Kansas State Wildcats on the road on Saturday.

The Tigers could certainly benefit from another strong week with two victories.

Although, as former number one ranked Kansas found out last week, nothing is easy on the road, especially when you travel to Manhattan, Kansas to take on the Wildcats.

Mizzou forward Laurence Bowers has a belief that the Tigers will continue to get better and play strong on the road.

"We broke the huddle with 'Road Dogs,' " Bowers said. "We won, so we're calling ourselves 'Road Dogs' until midnight."
