Nobody was certain that Mizzou guard and leading scorer Marcus Denmon would be able to suit up for the Tigers as they took on the Texas Tech Red Raiders in Columbia, MO.
Denmon was able to play for the 21st ranked Tigers and poured in 20 points, helping Mizzou to a 92-84 victory at Mizzou Arena.
The victory gave Missouri their 20th win on the season and most importantly, improved their record to 6-5 in the Big 12.
The Tigers were also able to protect home court, as they are now 16-0 when playing on Norm Stewart Court this season.
Denmon wasn't the only Tiger to have a good night offensively.
Kim English scored 16 points on 4 of 8 shooting from the field. English also converted 7 of his 11 free throw attempts.
The Tiger bench also played well for a second consecutive game as Michael Dixon scored 13 points and freshman Ricky Kreklow played 19 important minutes and scored 7 points.
The Tigers will next travel to Iowa State on Saturday in search for their first Big 12 road victory of the season.
