Back in action on Tuesday night, Halak was sharp, stopping 30 of Florida's 31 shots in helping to lead the Blues to a very important road victory.
As the Blues try to pick up ground, a lot of the team's success down the stretch will rest on Halak's shoulders.
"It's always that way, it's always that guy," Blues coach Davis Payne said. "It's always the ace of your rotation, it's always the quarterback, the cleanup hitter ... it's always the goaltender."
