Spags Says Spygate Is Not An Issue With McDaniels

The hiring of Josh McDaniels as the offensive coordinator of the St. Louis Rams has been highly popular among most Rams fans.

It is a signal from the organization, and more importantly from head coach Steve Spagnuolo, that the Rams are serious about winning and improving around franchise quarterback Sam Bradford.

But the hiring of McDaniels did not come without some level of drama.

McDaniels was part of the New England Patriots, who were caught video taping practices of the St. Louis Rams team in 2001 that lost to the Patriots in XXXVI.

McDaniels also had his own spat with "spying" when he was caught taping the practices of the San Francisco 49ers prior to a game played between the 49ers and the Denver Broncos this past season.

Spagnuolo says its a non-issue though.

"Again, I was OK with the response I (got)," Spagnuolo said. "Josh knows that we're all about character here. It's a non-issue in my opinion."
