Sam Bradford Gets Haircut

St. Louis fathers should keep their daughters at home
as the new look Sam Bradford will try to lead the
Rams back to the playoffs in 2011.
The ladies of St. Louis have become particularly fond of rookie St. Louis Rams quarterback Sam Bradford.

They will be happy to know that "Sam the Ram" has done some recent grooming.

Bradford cut his brown curly locks and chose to go with a shorter, closely shaved look.

"I think all the girls back home were really excited when I told them I was getting my hair cut," said Bradford from John Allan's Tribeca salon in New York. "They prefer the short hair."

Bradford threw for 3,512 yards and an impressive 18 touchdowns while completing 60.0% of his pass attempts.

An impressive season for any rookie quarterback that has so much to learn on the field.

Bradford says that he is learning some things off the field too.

"If you've seen my hair throughout the season, it got a little out of control toward the end," Bradford admitted. "I feel like the older I get and as a professional athlete now, I probably need to take a little bit more pride in my appearance. Next year I might have to break down and actually fix my hair before a game."

Hopefully Bradford's looks improve on the field too in 2010 as he continues to develop into one of the top young quarterbacks in the NFL.

And St. Louis dads, here is a word of advice.  Keep your daughters at home.
