Reaves and Cole Sent Back To Peoria

Ryan Reaves has had some good moments during his 6 game stint with the St. Louis Blues, including a game winning goal on the road at Los Angeles on January 13th.

Now Reaves and 21 year old defenseman Ian Cole are once again making the trip down Highway 55 back to Peoria as the Blues have sent the two young players back down to the minors.

To replace Reaves and Cole on the Blues roster, the organization has recalled Della Rovere and Nikita Nikiten from Peoria.

Rovere is 20 years old and is making his second stint with the Note this season.  Rovere appeared in 5 NHL games earlier this season without registering a point.  Rovere did manage to accumulate 9 penalty minutes.

Nikitin, a 24 year old defenseman from Russia, has also had a stint in St. Louis earlier this season, playing in 13 games.  Nikitin has plus/minus of -7 and has spent 4 minutes in the penalty box without registering a point as a member of the St. Louis Blues.

Both players should be in uniform on Monday night as the Blues travel to Denver to take on the Colorado Avalanche.
