Marshall Faulk Named Hall of Fame Finalist

Marshall Faulk is still a fan favorite among most St. Louis Rams fans.

Since the former multi-purpose running back is so popular, people in St. Louis should be delighted to hear that Faulk has been named one of the 15 finalists for election into the NFL Pro Football Hall of Fame.

This is the first time that Faulk is eligible for election into the Hall of Fame.

Faulk is the 10th leading rusher in NFL history with 12,279 rushing yards.

But what made Faulk such a dynamic player was his ability to catch the ball out of the back-field, pulling in 767 receptions for 6875 yards.

Faulk is also fourth all-time in touchdowns with 136, trailing Jerry Rice, Emmitt Smith, and Marcus Allen on the all-time list.

The 36 year old out of San Diego State played 13 years in the NFL with the St. Louis Rams and Indianapolis Colts and was named the 2000 NFL MVP, the year his St. Louis Rams won the Super Bowl.
