Kiper Says Two Tigers in the Top 11 Picks

Blaine Gabbert's stock rose when Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck decided to stay in school and not enter the 2011 NFL Draft.

ESPN's Mel Kiper predicts that Gabbert's stock is so high that he will likely go 5th overall to division rival Arizona.

The Cardinals are desperately in need of a quarterback as they attempted a carousel of options in 2010 to try and replace former Rams Super Bowl Champion MVP Kurt Warner.

Kiper likened Gabbert's skill-set to Joe Flacco, the third year quarterback of the Baltimore Ravens.  Flacco has led his team to the playoffs in each of his three season, so Kiper is setting expectations high for the former Tiger.

Blaine isn't the only Tiger expected to go early in 2011 draft.  Defensive lineman Aldon Smith is expected to go number 11th according to Kiper's mock draft.

Smith, a 6 foot 5 inch sophomore defensive end may be the most talented player in the draft.  But scouts need Smith to put more weight on his slender frame before he can move up the draft board even further.

Kiper predicts that Smith will go 11th overall to the Houston Texans.
