Jared Drew becomes the second freshman from the lastest recruiting class to leave the Saint Louis Basketball program. It was announced on Tuesday, May 14 that Drew, a 6-foot-4 forward from Indianapolis, will transfer.
Billiken head coach Jim Crews made a statement saying, “We have released Jared from his men’s basketball scholarship and wish him nothing but the best.”
Drew did not play for Saint Louis this season because he redshirted.
The other Billiken freshman to leave was Keith Carter. Carter transferred to Valparaiso during the season. Two scholarships will be available for the Billikens for next season because of Drew's departure.
