St. Louis Blues one win away from home-ice advantage after 4-1 win overCalgary

With a day centered around the St. Louis Rams and the NFL Draft, the St. Louis Blues defeated the Calgary Flames 4-1 as the Blues have improved to 28-17-2 with 58 points and have moved up to fourth place in the Western Conference.

With this win over the Flames, the Blues are now one win away from clinching home-ice advantage in the first round of the playoffs. The Blues have one remaining game left in the regular season, Saturday night at home against the Chicago Blackhawks. It is unsure who the Blues are going to play in the first round if indeed they do finish in fourth place, but it's looking like they will play the Los Angeles Kings, Vancouver Canucks, or San Jose Sharks pending the outcomes as playoff scenarios continue to unfold in these last few days of the regular season.

Scottrade Center was rocking Thursday night as it definitely felt like a playoff atmosphere as Blues fans definitely seem ready for playoff hockey in St. Louis. Who isn't ready for some playoff hockey?
