Video: Lindenwood-Belleville has a very interesting football field

The success of the Boise State Broncos football program has made their "blue field" famous. Or was it the famous blue field that made Boise State successful?

Either way, once unique, the Boise State blue field is not original any longer as other schools try their best to imitate the ploy.

Last year, Eastern Washington debuted an all-red football field, which got plenty of excitement and some coverage from ESPN.

Now, a local NAIA school is trying the same moniker.

Lindenwoon-Belleville's football program will debut a candy-cane striped football field this fall.
